RAHIM YAR KHAN: Withdrawing from his earlier demand of Prime Minister Nawaz’s resignation, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has said his party will end the Islamabad sit-in if his claim of rigging in general elections of 2013 is proven otherwise.
While addressing the PTI rally in Rahim Yar Khan on Sunday evening, the PTI chairman asked Nawaz to resume dialogue with his party, and constitute a commission under Supreme Court to investigate the alleged electoral fraud.


“Mian sb, I offer you to form a commission under Supreme Court to investigate 2013 elections,” he said.


However, Imran said, if his allegations are proven right, the premier will have to step down.
“If the commission’s accepts fraud in elections, you [Nawaz] will have to resign and hold new elections.”


He said the commission should also include officials from Military Intelligence and Inter Services Intelligence agency, while the report should be finalized within four to six weeks.
It is worth mentioning that the prime minister in his address to the nation on August 12, 2014 requested the Supreme Court Chief Justice to form a three-member commission to probe allegations of rigging and present their findings.
Reiterating his resolve to make a new Pakistan, PTI chief said a sea of people will enter Islamabad on November 30, adding that it will be the biggest protest in the history of Islamabad.




Appointment of CEC
The PTI chief rejected the name of former Chief Justice Tasadduq Hussain Jillani as the chief election commissioner.
“We respect you but do not trust you that you will remain impartial,” he said. “You should not become the election commissioner.”


Schedule for upcoming protests
Imran also announced the schedule of his upcoming protests in the country.
He said the PTI ‘tsunami’ will reach Nankana Sahib on Wednesday, November 12, Sahiwal on Saturday, on Sunday it will be in Jhelum while a protest is also scheduled in Gujranwala on Wendesday, November 19.
“We will reach Larkana on November 21,” he added.

PTI resumes its political struggle with Rahim Yar Khan Jalsa

Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf has resumed its marathon of political rallies with Rahim Yar Khan Jalsa today. The party had taken a short break due to Muharram days.
Before setting off for the rally, PTI chief Imran Khan told media that his political struggle would continue even if it took him three years. “No one should remain under the false impression that we would end our dharna without getting justice”, said Imran Khan in an apparent message to PMLN government.
According to reports, Imran Khan is going to announce his future course of action in today’s Jalsa of Rahim Yar Khan.
Scores of people, the majority of whom are females, have gathered to listen to their leader Imran Khan. Participants say that they have tested all political parties but none had delivered on their promises. “We support Imran Khan now because he is an honest person”, said an enthusiastic party worker.

پاکستان تحریک انصاف کے رہنما اسد عمر کہتے ہیں کہ حکومت سے مذاکرات میں دھاندلی کی تحقیقات کے طریقۂ کار پر اتفاق رائے نہیں ہو سکا۔پارٹی کے دیگر رہنماؤں کے ہمراہ پریس کانفرنس سے خطاب میں اسد عمر نے بتایا کہ ’حکومت سے مذاکرات میں 4 نکات پر بات ہو گئی تھی تاہم بات ٹوٹ گئی کہ دھاندلی کی تحقیقات کیسے کی جائیں۔‘
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ حکومت ایسا معاہدہ تو کر سکتی ہے جس سے مئی 2013 کے انتخابات میں ہونے والی دھاندلی پر پردہ پڑا رہے لیکن انہیں ایسا معاہدہ قبول نہیں جس سے دھاندلی کی حقیقت قوم کے سامنے آجائے۔
اسد عمر نے کہا کہ خیبر پختونخوا کی حکومتی کارکردگی کے حوالے سے حکومت نے جھوٹ پر مبنی وائٹ پیپر جاری کیا اس کا جواب ایک روز بعد پریس کانفرنس میں دیں گے۔
پریس کانفرنس سے خطاب میں پی ٹی آئی کے رہنما عارف علوی نے کہا کہ سپریم کورٹ میں وزیراعظم کی نااہلی سے متعلق درخواست میں سپریم کورٹ جھوٹ بولنے پر وزیراعظم کی نااہلی کا فیصلہ دے سکتی ہے۔
